What was
meant to be a brief 6-month stay in their motorhome stretched into an
18-month-long adventure for Maria and Candido!
As delays in their home construction altered their plans, Maria, Candy,
their daughter Elisa and her partner embarked on a journey that took them
across Australia.
Constantly
on the move, the family travelled through New South Wales, Victoria, the ACT
and even South Australia. The family fell in love with Uluru, making it one of
the best locations they have ever visited.
During the
18-month period when Maria and Candy’s home was under construction, they were
forced to constantly relocated due to the inability for them to stay in a
single location for an extended period of time. They moved around between
Burpengary, Woodford, Cruise Park and Kilcoy. Throughout this, Suncare has
become a comforting constant. Suncare adapted seamlessly to each new location,
turning a logistical nightmare into a story of resilience. The couple are extremely grateful for
Suncare and their support and will continue to grow with the company as they move onto the next chapter of their
lives.
Maria and
Candy, originally hailing from Spain, originally came to Australia so that
Candy could play professional soccer in Canberra. Candy excelled in his
professional soccer career, whilst Maria was a homemaker and took care of the
family.
The couple
has one daughter Elisa, whom they are very close, and with whom they have lived
and travelled with since 2015.
