Celebrating our Seniors
October 2023 was Queensland Seniors month, and we opened the doors of our Community Centre for our local Sunshine Coast community.
This year, we encouraged our customers and friends to get involved in our full program of events and activities offered at Suncare. The event this year was celebrated at the Suncare Community Centre in Maroochydore, where the day was packed full of activities for everyone. The day started with a delicious morning tea for our customers, followed by indoor bowls and a ladies pamper station. After our sausage sizzle lunch, everyone enjoyed a Ukelele class followed by Trivia games to end our day of activities.
Our Occupational Therapy team and Allied Health Students also joined the event, taking the time to converse with our customers about their health and wellbeing, introducing helpful programs that Suncare has to offer.
