For Owen it was an endless flow of birthday cards, amongst them one from King Charles, friends from his retirement home sharing in a birthday lunch at the Village and a celebration with family which included 3 children, 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-grandchildren.
With his wife of nearly 60 years by his side, Richard celebrated his birthday with his family, friends from far and wide and even some dignitaries in Bundaberg recently. Joining in the celebrations were his two sons, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and the President of the RSL.
The festive gatherings marked 100 years of full and eventful lives. We wish you both a happy and healthy year ahead!
