Suncare customer Mary Haddon celebrated her 100th birthday recently by playing a round of golf at Maroochy River Golf Club.
An avid golfer, Mary started playing golf more than 70 years ago and joined the Maroochy River Golf Club in 1982. When Mary’s husband passed away 20 years ago, she started the “Merry’s Widows” lunch at the golf club where many women continue to meet each month.
She continues to be an inspiration to many others. Mary celebrated her 80th birthday with a sky dive and her future ambitions include travel and staying healthy, happy and active in the golfing community.
Suncare has provided transportation services to Mary for her golf and other outings for a number of years.
