Suncare Community Services was among the record number of 210 businesses who stepped forward to apply for the Sunshine Coast Business Awards this year. With just ten organisations making it to the final stage in the Social Enterprise category, not-for-profit Suncare’s Chief Executive Russell Mason was thrilled with the outcome.
“The application process was an opportunity to review our own performance, and as a result, we are very proud to be recognised for our achievements. As an organisation who exists to support and care for the senior community in an ever-changing market, it is a great sign of our resilience.”
Since Suncare began in 1970, the organisation’s focus has been firmly on the benefits to individuals being able to live in their own home and retain their community connections.
“For nearly 50 years the people of the Sunshine Coast have turned to Suncare as a trusted organisation and I believe our commitment to making people’s lives better continues to shine through with the result of our Sunshine Coast Business Awards finalist nomination.” Mr Mason said.
The Sunshine Coast Business Awards are a magnificent way to showcase the region’s healthy, smart and creative businesses.
