Suncare Community Services has appointed Angela Massy to the newly created role of Head – Innovation, Growth and Connection.
Ms Massy takes up her new position on 16 May and will manage organisational strategic development, community and business innovation development and strategic communications.
Suncare CEO Russell Mason said Ms Massy had considerable experience in marketing, communications and strategic planning through her career in commercial environments as well as government and not for profit organisations.
“This new role sets the scene for Suncare to position itself for growth in a dynamic and changing market into the future, with a particular focus on harnessing the opportunities that digital disruption and innovation provide.”
For the past five years Ms Massy has worked for Lallemand Animal Nutrition, initially as the organisation’s Marketing and Administration Manager, and recently as Marketing Manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Previous roles included Director, consultant and trainer with Maroochydore-based Black and White Business Consultants for eight years. She has also been a Board Director of Suncare since 2012, including Deputy Chair and Chair of the Strategic Marketing sub-committee.
“Suncare has an important role to play in the health and aged care sectors and is already on its way to transforming itself into an organisation which can deliver innovative approaches to service delivery,” Ms Massy said.
“Technology is playing a huge role in an industry which is shifting at the moment, which is both challenging and exciting. Suncare is well placed to take advantage of these opportunities.”
